Members are invited to "Party with a Purpose"
On
Thursday, August 12th from 5:00pm-8:00pm
the Northampton
Area Young Professionals will be holding their monthly "Party
with a Purpose" social event at Eighty Jarvis Restaurant
located at 80 Jarvis Street in Holyoke
(Click
Here for Map & Directions). The area non-profit that featured
is the Alzheimer's Association. Eighty Jarvis provides their guests
with great food and casual conversation in a relaxed fine dining
atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining on the outdoor
patio from late spring to early fall. Check out their website

YPS Runner Club is Off and Running!
If
you are interested in getting out for a run and meeting new
people please join us! We will be meeting on Mondays
at 5:45pm. All skill levels are
encouraged to come! If you have any questions or need directions

Looking
for YPS Volunteers Interested in the Arts
YPS
is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the City of
Springfield, UMASS, Springfield Business Improvement District,
and TSM Design in “Arts & Soles”
- the premier arts installation project that will explode over
the summer in Springfield’s downtown business improvement
district. YPS is looking for interested individuals to assist
in development of the project including contacting local area
businesses to pursue corporate participation. If you are interested
in participating, or have ideas on how you can get involved, please

"Third Thursday" will be at The Federal in Agawam
Our
August social event will be held on Thursday, August 19th
from 5:00pm-8:00pm at The Federal
Restaurant, 135 Cooper Street in Agawam (Click

Spotlight - Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity. Greater
Springfield Habitat for Humanity works to eliminate poverty housing
by providing homeownership opportunities for local families in
need. This is accomplished through partnerships with members of
the community who help build simple, decent, affordable homes.
