Refund Policy

Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield ("we," "us," or "our") strives to provide valuable experiences and benefits to our members and event attendees. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested for membership dues, event tickets, and merchandise purchases.
2. Membership Refunds
Refund Eligibility
Please specifically note that refund requests for membership dues must be submitted within 14 days of the date your credit card was charged. Requests made after this 14-day window will not be eligible for a refund.
Processing Fee
All approved membership refunds are subject to a processing fee of 15% of the total membership cost charged. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Example
If your membership costs $100.00, a processing fee of $15.00 will be deducted, and you will receive a refund of $85.00.
How to Request a Membership Refund
To request a membership refund, please contact us at admin@springfieldyps.com within 14 days of your charge date. Please include your name, membership type, and the date of your original transaction. Refund requests submitted after the 14-day period will not be considered.
3. Event Ticket Refunds
All event ticket purchases are non-refundable. We encourage you to review all event details carefully before completing your purchase. In the event of a cancellation of the event by the organization, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees and issue refunds or credits as appropriate.
4. Merchandise Refunds
Merchandise purchases are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you received a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at admin@springfieldyps.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for merchandise that was ordered correctly.
5. Refund Processing
Once a refund has been approved, please allow up to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
6. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us directly at admin@springfieldyps.com before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. We are committed to working with you to resolve any concerns in a timely manner.

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time without notice. Changes will be reflected by the updated effective date at the top of this page.
